Each 4-H project offers a variety of activities and learning opportunities to suit your interests and strengths. Whether you're just getting started or taking your knowledge to the next level, there are several activities to learn and do throughout your project experience! |
- Basic understanding of how to use a telescope
- Understand what it means to be an astronomer
- Understand how to locate the North Star
- Understand the difference between circumpolar and seasonal constellations
- Understand moon phases
- Be able to navigate through the night sky
- Be able to locate some common stars in the night sky
- Understand what a deep sky object is and how to locate at least three
