Six Inbound Exchangees Expected to Need Hosts this Summer
Kansas has been asked to host inbound IFYE’s from Wales, India, Taiwan, Scotland, Germany and Greece. At the date of this publication, we lack details on several of the exchangees who will be coming, but the summaries below give some information and when they need host families. • Elin from Wales needs 2 hosts June 20-July 1 and July 1-July 13. She is asst. producer for Welsh children’s television, active in Welsh Young Farmers Clubs who loves arts and crafts which she has evolved into a greeting card business.
• Mohit of India needs three hosts June 20 to July 10, July 10 to July 31, and August 21 to September 9. He graduated in Travel and Tourism in 2015 while working with his father on their farm. He is interested in agriculture and the environment and would like to facilitate farm tours.
• Kuan-Ju from Taiwan needs hosts June 20 to July 10, July 10 to July 31, July 31 to August 21, and August 21 to September 6. She is a student in Health Care Management and 7 year 4-H member. More information will be available.
• A Scottish Young Farmers Club member is expected to need 3-4 families June 20 until his or her departure in August or September. More information should be available very soon.
• Ludwig from Germany needs a host July 23-August 10. He has completed an apprenticeship in pig breeding and grain production is graduating this summer from a technical school in agriculture. He is a Landjugend (Rural Youth) club member and enjoys mountain biking, running, playing baritone, skiing and travel.
• A student of the American Farm School a high school in Greece is expected to need two families in July and early August. More information is expected soon.
