Applications Due to Host States’ 4-H Summer Exchanges
Families wishing to host a Norwegian or Costa Rican 4-H teen this summer need to have approved applications by March 1. This is an online application which can be accessed from the Kansas 4-H webpage https://www.kansas4-h.org/events-activities/global-citizenship/host-family-information/
through a link to the Electronic On Line Application Process on States’ 4-H International Exchange Programs’ site. We will follow up to arrange for required host family screening procedures. The same process will be used for hosting a younger teen from Japan. Completing the application is the first step, but it does not assure a placement. If a family applies for a States’ 4-H hosting program and is not selected, they can be considered for hosting an IFYE for 2-3 weeks during the summer. Contact Mary Kay Munson at 785-238-3631 (leave a message) or munson@ksbroadband.net to discuss hosting options and applying to host. She can refer families to the Japan Inbound and/or the IFYE coordinators.
