Family and Consumer Judging Contest Resources
Is your local unit interested in hosting a 4-H Family and Consumer Sciences Contest/Judging experience?

In Person Options/Resources:
- Suitcase Kits: Some area offices (SE, ? others) have suitcase kits with laminated poster board cards that can be displayed at events. The kits contain a notebook with master copies, visuals and answer keys.
- Print your Own Resources: Visit the “KSRE Resources Team” – “Youth Development Channel” – FCS Contest resource file to access ready to print options of classes for Juniors, Intermediates and Seniors.
Components are being developed for the 2021 Kansas 4-H State Family and Consumer Sciences Judging Contest for the Kansas State Fair. Committee members include KSRE staff Susie Latta, Ashley Svaty, Becky Reid, Shandi Andres and youth members Shelvy Varner, Ainsley Horinek, Calista Covel, and Sukesh Kamesk.
