4-H Update
The Ks State Fair is well underway now, and I want to commend our State 4-H staff, regional specialists, contract professionals, and volunteers for all their hard work in preparation for this.
I also want to make you aware of some staff transitions occurring in the State 4-H Office. Terry Roberts has departed and has taken another position within the university. We wish her well. As you may know, Terry was assisting Shane Potter with the Kansas 4-H Comprehensive Out-of-School Time Program grant with the Kansas Department of Education. In Shane and Terry’s absence, I have taken over as Director for the grant and have hired Amy Collins as a Project Coordinator to assist me with its day to day operations. Amy began Sept 4 and comes to us from KSRE's 21 Central District. Please welcome Amy to the State 4-H team.
The fiscal portion of the grant has transitioned to Catherine Hickman who is working with the State 4-H Office on a part-time basis. Her contact information is: catherineh@ksu.edu
