President/CEO named for the Kansas 4-H Foundation

Mindy Weixelman has been named the President/CEO of the Kansas 4-H Foundation. Mindy officially began her new role on April 1, 2023.
“While serving as the chief development officer the last four years, Mindy has demonstrated her commitment to the 4-H mission, extraordinary skills as a collaborative leader and vision for the power of philanthropy,” said Warren Weibert, Board Chair.
She most recently served as the interim President/CEO after Jake Worcester accepted a new position as the vice president for development at National 4-H Council. The Kansas 4-H Foundation Board of Trustees looks forward to working with Mindy and the Foundation team toward the success of the organization in the coming years.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to lead such a great philanthropic organization,” Weixelman said. “Kansas 4-H youth are at the forefront of what we do as an organization. Our world needs more youth pledging their head, heart, hands and health to a better community, and I’m looking forward to leading an incredible team who believes in the mission of Kansas 4-H.”
