Utilizing PEARS for Reporting
Submitted by McKenzie Zimmermann
KSRE agents with youth programming responsibilities,
This is just a friendly reminder to utilize PEARS for reporting local activities and events. Kansas Research & Extension 4-H Youth Development is no longer using 4-H Online "Group Enrollments" to report youth programming.
Reporting of Youth Programs is due mid-October. There are many resources to assist with PEARS reporting. Resources include:
- PEARS Training (TEAMS)
- KSRE Resources Team > Youth Development Channel > Files > PEARS
- How Should I Report Guide (TEAMS)
- KSRE Resources Team > Youth Development Channel > Files > PEARS
- Reporting of Youth Programs Resources (WEB)
- KSRE Homepage > 4-H Youth Development > Staff Protected Resources > Program Management & Evaluation
For KSRE staff with 4-H responsibilities - Enrolled 4-H youth and adult volunteers in 4-H Online do count toward Kansas 4-H Youth Development’s annual reports, so staff should ensure participating individuals are fully "Approved" for the current Program Year in the 4-H Online system no later than September 20th. The State 4-H office will compile 4-H Online enrollment numbers and youth program data from PEARS to form the annual Kansas 4-H Youth Development report.
