Kansas 4-H offers many programs, events and activities designed to engate and educate year-round.  Each program has different requirements and offerings to best fulfill the needs of the participants. Please click the purple arrow to explore opportunities in each area.

Kansas 4-H Calendar

Fairs

The fair is a culmination of project work done by 4-H members throughout the year. This capstone event celebrates the work and accomplishments of 4-H'ers and highlights the learning they have done through their exhibits and projects.

Agriculture & Natural Resources Events


The Ag & Natural Resources area is designed to increase understanding and appreciation of our nation's natural resources and habitats, to include hunting and conservation efforts.

Animal Science Events

Animal Science promotes ethical care and management of livestock and domestic animals. Through hands-on learning, youth develop skills in animal health, nutrition, behavior and training while exploring careers working with animals.

Career & College Readiness

Kansas 4-H offers opportunities for youth to explore their future education, career opportuntiies and experience Kansas State University and campus life.

Creative Arts Events


Creative Arts allows youth to practice self-expression and creativity, while learning and demonstrating new skills.

Family & Consumer Science Events


Family and Consumer Science events give youth the opportunity to enhance practical skills they can apply to their home and family. Subject matter ranges from health and nutrition, foods and cooking, interior design and home repair, financial literacy, and clothing and sewing.
