Strengthening the Future of Kansas 4-H
We appreciated those of you who attended our breakout session at Annual Conference as we explore ways in which we can reach our program goals and meet future needs by obtaining additional external resources. In analyzing needs for a positive future for Kansas 4-H, the 4-H Youth Development faculty and staff identified three compelling needs. The document outlining the compelling needs is found at: Financing The Future of Kansas 4-H
The Department of Planning and Analysis helped us conduct a survey to gather your input to determine the most critical needs for the Kansas 4-H program now and into the future. The survey was sent to Extension professionals with 4-H responsibilities, including program assistants/managers and office professionals. We asked your input on the question: If funds were available, how should the funds be used with the goal of stabilizing and growing the 4-H program?
The next discussion, Financing the Future of Kansas 4-H, will be at 4-H Program Rally, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at Rock Springs 4-H Center.
Together we can develop a sound, viable strategy to fund the future of Kansas 4-H.
