September 15 Deadline: ES-237 Report & 4HOnline New Year Prep
Each year, local Extension units are responsible for completing the ES-237 Report and ensuring 4HOnline is ready for the upcoming 4-H Program Year. The deadline for completion of these tasks is September 15, 2017.
What is the ES-237 Report?
The ES-237 is a collaborative effort, involving each local Extension office and the State 4-H office. The report is required by the USDA and contains a breakdown of 4-H outreach and development; in short, it’s a snapshot of the State of Kansas’ 4-H Program Year. When 4-H members enroll in 4HOnline and local Extension staff approve those enrollments, the ES-237 Report begins to take form. Learn more about the ES-237 Report here.
What are Group Enrollments?
A Group Enrollment is a collection of youth data. If your local KSRE agent(s) offered educational programming to youth in the community, this data must be recorded in 4HOnline as it is part of the ES-237 Report. The September 15 deadline includes Group Enrollments for the 2016-17 4-H Program year, so if there are any youth events or activities occurring after September 15 and prior to October 1, please let me know.
How do I complete this process?
Each local Extension unit has a 4HOnline Administrator who should complete the End of Year Cleanup & ES-237 Report. This resource is located at the bottom of the 4-H Enrollment Support Page, along with supplemental materials you might need.
