Fair Judges Training
There are several Fair Judges trainings planned for this spring. Please share this with your fair judges, those who want to become judges, project leaders and other volunteers helping young people with projects. In addition to specific project areas, the role of the judge, understanding the audience, consultation evaluation, using standards, the Danish System of ribbon placing and youth recognition will be covered.
Wednesday, April 1 – Paola, KS – Hosted by Marais des Cygnes District
Topics will include: Photography, Visual Arts, Woodworking, Entomology, Geology, Posters, Banners, and Displays, Fashion Revue and Clothing Construction.
Thursday, April 2 – Chanute, KS – Hosted by Southwind District
Topics will include: Photography, Woodworking, Rocketry, Posters and Displays, Fiber Arts and Clothing Construction.
Monday April 6 – Iola, KS – Hosted by Southwind District
Foods and Foods Preservation with Karen Blakelsee.
