2024-2025 Kansas 4-H Program Fee Waivers
The Kansas 4-H Program Fee is $15 per member. Waivers are intended for those who need financial assistance. We know there are Extension Units out there that have encouraged families to apply for a waiver whether it was because of a financial need or not.
It is important to note that when a waiver is granted to someone who may not have a financial need, it takes funding away from someone who has a need and away from other programmatic needs.
Waivers are sponsored by generous donors to the Kansas 4-H Foundation.
While waivers have always been reviewed and granted no matter the need identified before the 2023-2024 4-H year, this is just a reminder that these requests will be reviewed with more scrutiny and be based on financial need and not “just because.”
