Good News! 4-H Enrollment is Up!
Good News! 4-H Enrollment is Up! Comparing 2013 (16,932) to 2014 (18,568) community club enrollment data, Kansas 4-H had an increase of 1,636 members or about 9.5%.
64% of the Extension Units had an increase in enrollment when comparing 2013 data to 2014.
Parents interested in 4-H continue to use the JoinKansas4-H.org website. In 2014 there were 333 inquiries made as compared to 239 in 2013. The back-to-school time in August continues to be one of the highest times inquiries are made. 67% percent of the inquiries are made during non-office hours, so it shows the importance of a web based system.
As you look to summer to highlight and market 4-H, be sure to utilize the Life's Little Questions recruitment campaign.
Thanks to everyone for growing 4-H and making a difference in the lives of Kansas youth!
