4-H Dog Care and Training Scholarship Application Due July 1
Are you a senior heading off to college this fall who has been in the Kansas 4-H Dog Project for three years or more? If so,consider applying for the Keith Neuway and Jim Adams Kansas 4-H Dog Care and Training Project Scholarship. This 4-H Scholarship is a one-time payment of $500.00. Applicants must be a current 4-H member, a high school graduate and have been enrolled in the 4-H Dog Care and Training Project for a minimum of three years.
All applicants will be judged by a panel with criteria including Dog Care and Training Project participation, a story and any additional 4-H project participation. Applications must be received on or before July 1. Send the completed application to the Kansas State 4-H Office, ATTN: Neuway and Adams Dog Care and Training Scholarship Committee, 201 Umberger Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506-3404, 785-532-5800.
The application may be found on the Kansas 4-H web site. Each application must include:
-Maximum one-sided page summary of your involvement with the 4-H Dog Care and Training Project
-Maximum one-sided page store of your favorite memory of the Kansas 4-H Dog Project
-Maximum one-sided page summarizing your participation in other 4-H events and activities (A photo is optional, but it must be included as part of one of the above pages. No additional pages or information will be accepted.
