Kansas 4-H Dog Care and Training News
1. The Kansas 4-H Dog Conference theme design contest is open. The Kansas 4-H Dog Action Team is inviting all 4-H dog members to submit their ideas for the Kansas 4-H Dog Conference theme design contest. The 2015 theme is “All About that Dog!” Designs must reflect theme and be submitted electronically in a .jpg format. Do not submit designs as a .pdf. The winning theme design with professional modifications will be used for promotional efforts including t-shirts. The winner must redeem the complimentary registration for the 2015 Kansas 4-H Dog Conference. There is no cash value. Entries must be received electronically by Friday, July 31.
2. Are you a senior heading off to college next fall who has been in the Kansas 4-H Dog Project for three or more years? If so, consider applying for the Keith Neuway and Jim Adams Kansas 4-H Dog Care and Training Project Scholarship. This 4-H Scholarship is a one-time payment of $500.00. Applications must be received on or before July 1. Send the completed application to the Kansas State 4-H Office, ATTN: Neuway and Adams Dog Care and Training Scholarship Committee, 201 Umberger Hall, 1612 Claflin Road, Manhattan, KS 66506-3404, 785-532-5800.
