The 2016 Youth in Action Awards Are Open for Submissions
National 4-H Council’s Youth in Action Awards recognize outstanding 4-H’ers who epitomize 4-H youth empowerment and leadership. This prestigious award will honor four confident, accomplished 4-H’ers who have gained critical life skills through their 4-H experience and have utilized those skills to overcome a challenge, or challenges, they have faced. Each winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship for higher education, be featured as the 4-H Youth Spokesperson, and receive an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. to be recognized at National 4-H Council's Legacy Awards and have the chance to win an additional $5,000 and named the national youth spokesperson of 4-H for the year. The winners’ county 4-H program will receive a $5,000 grant to support the growth and impact of programs and activities related to the winner’s pillar area.
