States’ 4-H Inbound Exchangees Arrive June 26
Teens and a chaperone from Costa Rica and Finland on month-long exchanges will each be staying with Kansas families June 26 to July 21. The teens are part of 4-H type programs in their home countries and look forward to learning about 4-H as well as daily life in our state while hosted by a host sibling who is a 4-H member. The incoming visitors, their sponsoring organizations, their hosts and counties are:
- Allan Salazar Mora, Costa Rica 4-S; Joe, Amy and Simon Schmitz, Marshall County
- Minttu Varis, Finnish 4H Federation; Gary, Lea Ann and Saylor-Anne Seiler, Hodgeman County
- Mirja Mertala, Chaperone, Finnish 4H Federation; Gus and Jennifer Falter, Geary County
Mirja will also be hosted beginning July 8 in Lyon County, by a 4-H family now completing the application process.
