Empowering Youth: Resiliency in the Face of Trauma
August 1-3, 2018
Washington, D.C.

Each year, CJJ's Youth Summit brings together young people from across the country who are interested in juvenile justice reform. The Summit aims to cultivate and empower the next generation of leaders by providing them with the tools they need to leverage their lived expertise. Participants will learn the basics of juvenile justice and have the opportunity to delve into more detail about key topics in the field of juvenile justice.

A copy of the draft agenda is available here.

This year's Summit will take place at the University of the District of Columbia's David A. Clarke School of Law. To register to attend in person, click here. If you are unable to attend live but would like to join the summit online, click here. A block of rooms is available at a discounted rate of $122 per night at the nearby Days Inn Connecticut Avenue. To reserve your room click here. Individuals who are under 18 will need to travel with a chaperone.
