Three Kansas 4-H’ers Approved for International Travel
The State Outbound Interview Committee approved three 4-H members for potential travel to Finland and Costa Rica through States’ 4-H International Exchange Programs in June 2019 at Outbound Interviews and First Orientation on November 18. Their applications have been submitted to the States’ 4-H national office by the December 1 deadline. We expect to hear decisions regarding their placements by January 15, 2019. The two 4-H’ers applying for the Finland Exchange are Gracie Davolt, Cherokee County, and Rebecca Johnson, Stevens County. Amelia Weber, Riley County, is applying for the Costa Rica Exchange. Prospective delegates have been encouraged to talk with their local agents as they begin fund raising efforts.
