Livestock Emergency Workshops
A series of livestock emergency workshops across the state will be offered this spring by the Kansas Department of Agriculture, focused on helping livestock owners take real-world steps to prevent, prepare, respond, and recover from emergency events – whether natural hazard or disease related.
Workshops will be held in Great Bend (4/30), Montezuma (5/1), Olathe (5/6), Mankato (5/7), Goodland (5/8), El Dorado (5/13), Iola (5/16) and Manhattan (5/20). All workshops are free and registration is now open for all locations. Space is limited to 50 participants.
